You are cordially invited to attend our August 2018 chapter meeting on Thursday, August 30th, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Topic: Formalizing Business Processes Date: Thursday, August 30th, 2018 Meeting Start Time: 6:00 PM Meeting End Time: 7:30 PM Location: El Paso Electric, 100 N. Stanton El Paso, TX 79901– First Floor Auditorium Parking: Attendees can park at any of the metered parking spaces. It is free after 6:00PM. Meeting Discussion: The presentation and exercise will focus on understanding how detailing a process can better prepare you for making changes to an existing process or implementing a new one. We will talk about the three main processes (Management, Operational, and Supporting). We will discuss standard operating procedures, workflows, and checklists. We will also cover the various types of mapping. There will even be a fun mapping process exercise for all. Remember, eighty five percent of the reasons for failure are deficiencies in the systems and process rather than the employee!
