Parking: Attendees can park at any of the metered parking spaces. It is free after 6:00 PM.
Tony Reyes has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. After working in the auto industry for over a decade as a Test Engineer and Engineering Group Manager, he helped found Solar Smart Living LLC, the first engineering company focused on solar integration in El Paso TX. As part of Solar Smart Living for 5 years, Tony was involved in the design build of El Paso Electric’s first utility owned solar systems. He is currently a Senior Engineer in El Paso Electric’s Renewables Development and Management group where he has been working on developing new renewable energy projects, and supporting the integration of emergent technologies such as electric vehicles.
Omar Garcia-Bracho has a M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to joining EPE, Omar worked in various manufacturing engineering fields for approximately 15 years. Omar joined EPE in 2010 as part of the customer service team and is currently the supervisor of the Renewables Development and Management group. He is responsible for: program and project management for renewable and new technologies; design and development of renewable generating facilities; and operations and maintenance of utility-scale renewable resources.
